Animation Inspiration

Conan O'Brien Kinetic Typography
interesting how the type is arranged on one plane, swiveling the camera to see various elements, I liked the 3D look, very clean with a pop of color

Love Actually Kinetic Typography
clean, strong use of color

Whiteboard Animation: The Marker Maker
although this is stop motion and not Flash, I think I could apply similar aesthetics to my project, I like the sketchy black lines on the white background and how elements outside of the medium (the hands) interact with the design (marker drawings)

"Me and You" - She & Him [song animation]
similar to the marker video but actually animated, I like that the font was hand written because most of these videos use big blocky slab serifs or san serifs, I think it's worth experimenting with

Fuck You by Lily Allen - Kinetic Typography
although I question some of the font choices, I needed more colorful inspiration

The History of Typography - Animated Short
this was my favorite find, it's another stop motion film, but the fonts and layout and use of color are superb, it's just so, so great

Minimal Animation
pretty self explanatory, I enjoy how it builds on itself and does it all in black and white

Kid President Peptalk Kinetic Typography
I wasn't considering doing a dark background for my lighthearted subject material, but this one is executed pretty well, I like the balance of illustrations and type here

Trentemoller - Beta Boy (Crane - Minimal Animation)
pretty long, but it's intriguing black and white Flash animation, an interesting application for the music choice, you may want to skip ahead to the ending

Hello Hola Hallo Bonjour Ciao Ola!
a little more colorful than what I'm going for, but the animation is so detailed and there's so much going on that I could watch it five times and still see something new happening!
